If you are a business in the City of Toronto Starter Company Female Founders Program can provide the following support: Over 5 weeks of BUSINESS Training workshops provided by Bizlaunch Starter Company Plus Grant of $5,000 Further mentoring and advice up to 6 months. You can only apply to the FEMALE FOUNDERS Starter Company Program if you’re: 18 years of age or older (Gender is Female/Identify as a Female) A Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Ontario Toronto resident and operating an Independent business in the City of Toronto Applicant must be Full time self- employed Entrepreneur and have majority ownership in the business Business must be classified as a service, retail or manufacturing On line and B2B businesses can apply; will undergo further review Not a franchise operation of any sort No Social Enterprises or Not for Profit businesses of any sort A few notes to consider before starting your application: You can save your application and return at a later date to complete it.
