- A review of the best (online & offline) platforms to sell & distribute jewellery – what is the benefit to being solely online or to having a brick-and-mortar studio/shop?

About the Speaker:
Brittany Hopkins is the owner and creative director of Anice Jewellery, a custom jewellery company in the heart of downtown Toronto and online worldwide, that specializes in custom jewellery, reworking vintage and creating unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Self-expression, individuality and storytelling through jewellery have always been the name of the game for her. Hopkins studied business at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a major in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She went on to complete the Jewellery Arts program at George Brown College and, by the time she was 25, had opened her first shop in Kensington Market. Nine years later, she now operates an expanded “grown-up” version on the ever-popular Ossington shopping strip and an online retail shop with budding virtual offerings including online jewellery workshops. Through it all, her goal continues to be the same – to make beautiful, special custom pieces for others, and to share memories and experiences through the love of jewellery old and new
