On March 11, several startGBC entrepreneurs came together with some startGBC mentors to kick off a “collaborative community”. Each entrepreneur shared his or her start-up idea and made an “ask” for advice or assistance from peers and mentors. And the feedback flowed freely around the tables and around the room.
Both mentors and entrepreneurs felt that the open and supportive format gave everyone a chance to learn and gain valuable insight and confidence. Several shared that they no longer felt alone in pursuing their venture.
Stay tuned for the next MashUp and if you would like to participate as an entrepreneur or as a mentor, let Amy know at www.startgbc.com!
