OPEN OFFICE HOURS UNLOCKS TORONTO’S MOST INNOVATIVE STARTUPS

August 3, 2017 by Neal Lilliott

Brought to you by Startup Open House Toronto and Lighthouse Labs, Open Office Hours is a brand new event series that will shine the light on startups in the #6ix throughout Summer 2017. Curious to meet up-and-coming startups in your city, on the hunt for a new gig, or just love to learn? Through lean, engaging, and hiring-focused events, Open Office Hours connects startups and community like never before.

HOW EXACTLY DOES IT WORK?

On Tuesday and Thursdays over the summer, one startup a night will open their doors to the community. This isn’t your grandma’s networking event. We want you to participate – join in on lightning talks, workshops, demos and more to learn what really makes these startups tick.

Tickets are free but are also first-come-first-served. Each startup will have a different capacity based on their space, so don’t sit on this one. Check out our full events calendar below to see who’s opening their doors, and who they’re looking to hire. Don’t forget to polish off that resume and dust off those business cards!

Startup Open House is an annual event where local startups open their spaces so people can learn more about their operations. Tickets for this year’s Startup Open House Toronto are available starting September 1st.

At Startup Open House, startups across the city open their doors and welcome top talent, passionate investors and curious neighbors into their offices. People are invited to walk through, visit the most innovative startups, and connect with top entrepreneurs.

Startup Open House gives Torontonians the chance to walk into the inspiring, quirky, and fun workplaces of their city’s most innovative startups. By learning about these companies and their products from inside their workplaces, participants get a feel for the startup’s culture, vibe, and values.

Plus, new this year is Open Office Hours, a weekly event at different startup spaces around the city during the lead up to the Startup Open House event in the fall. Brought to you by Startup Open House Toronto and Lighthouse Labs, Open Office Hours is a lean, hiring-focused event series that aims to connect startups and community like never before.

On Tuesday and Thursdays over the summer, one startup a night will open their doors to the community.
