Academic Background
I am a licensed HVAC mechanic with the Gas Technician 1 Certificate from George Brown College.
What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
Entrepreneurship is a challenge and I believe time is the most valuable thing in life. I want to use it for meaningful things and right now I am working on My Reference Canada.
Why did you create your business?
As I have had many jobs that I have excelled at, I believe I should be able to use that to my advantage. I created My Reference Canada as a fast, secure and convenient service for everyone. You can start collecting valuable employment references now and have them available upon request for your next opportunity. This service is all about thinking down the road a little bit. Imagine 5 or 10 years into the future and you find yourself on the job market again but now having 2 or 3 solid references that you can present right away.
What successes have you enjoyed so far with building your company?
To have an idea and bring it into reality is very rewarding.
What is one piece of advice you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
“You get what you settle for. So don’t settle until you get what you want. And find a way to enjoy the process.” – Mike Swan
