Ready to put your entrepreneurial skills to the test?

Do you want to compete for the chance to win $1,000? Join us at the CEO Global Conference & Pitch Competition to participate in the Marketplace Simulation Challenge!

What is it?

The Marketplace Simulation Challenge is a half-day, fast-paced competition where teams compete within a simulated business ecosystem to start and manage their own businesses. You and your teammates will compete against other schools to outperform the competition and bring home the win.

The top three winning teams will receive cash prizes in the amount of $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $400 for third place.

Players on the top three teams will also receive certificates recognizing their placement, those in the top third of all performers will receive certificates of excellence, and all others who complete the competition will receive a certificate of completion.

How it Works?

You and your teammates will start up and manage a global 3D printed carbon bike company and oversee every area of the new business– marketing, sales, manufacturing, distribution, accounting and finance and Human Resources.

During the Simulation You Will:
  • Organize the Firm & Setup Shop
  • Develop and Launch a New Product Line
  • Market your Products to your Target Audiences
  • Manage a Sales Force, Open Channels and Oversee Web Sales
  • Forecast Demand and Manage Production
  • Skillfully Adjust your Strategy and Tactics to Better Meet Customer Needs, Add to the Bottom Line and Surpass the Competition

You can find more information about Marketplace Simulations here.

How to Register:

Teams must have between 3 and 5 people to compete. It would be great for your team to include a mix of different business majors, but if not, don’t sweat it. After you have assembled your team, assign a team lead. The team lead will register each member of the team to participate in the challenge.
